The franchisor offers 2 purchase options: a Single Unit Franchise or a Multi-Unit Development Agreement, under which you must open a minimum of two locations within a specified period of time. The total investment necessary to begin operation of a single unit Barry s Cheesesteaks and More franchised business is between $223,262 and $427,267. This includes between $30,000 and $40,000 that must be paid to the franchisor or its affiliate(s). If you enter into a Multi-Unit Development Agreement to develop at least two outlets, when you sign the Multi-Unit Development Agreement you will pay a development fee equal to 100% of the initial franchise fee of $30,000 for the first outlet to be developed, plus a deposit equal to 50% of the reduced initial franchise fee for each additional outlet to be developed under the Multi-Unit Development Agreement. The total estimated initial investment under a Multi-Unit Development Agreement for two outlets, including the costs to build and equip the first outlet is $235,762 to $439,767. This includes $42,500 to $52,500 that must be paid to the franchisor and/or its affiliates.
