Dan Pentimone is no stranger to a good deal; after all, he's been in the retail business for 13 years, advancing his career by helping others find what they need. It should come as no surprise that he has recently purchased the Topeka, Kansas franchise. As a former employee of a Tradebank client, Pentimone saw first-hand the advantages of being in Tradebank. This will come in handy for Pentimone, who only recently moved to the area with his wife Heather and their five children. So far, he enjoys Topeka, commenting that it's "not too big, and yet has everything you need. You can get anywhere in about 20 minutes". As if the new city isn't intimidating enough, Pentimone has set his goals high and his ambition even higher. When asked what his plans were for Tradebank Topeka, Pentimone can't suppress a smile. "There are some new aspects that will probably be challenging, but other things I'm skilled at and can handle. I'll be using my past experience and learning about new things all at once." Pentimone believes his people skills will help him. "I do consider myself a people-person; you almost have to be if you've been in retail." Pentimone maintains a high level of social activity at home also, as he and his wife home-school their five children. "It keeps both Heather and I very busy, but we love it. It's important for me to find that equilibrium between work and family. Tradebank can help me do that." Having lived in almost every corner of the US, from Phoenix to Greenville, and then over to Wisconsin, moving to a new pocket in the States is no big deal for Pentimone. In fact, not only is he looking forward to being reunited with the southern version of the windy city, but he's excited about a new job and a great place for his family.
