Signs Now Business Owners Convene At International Convention

Signs Now executives and franchise owners recently convened at the 2006 Allegra Network Convention "Collaborate, Diversify, Energize," held Sept. 17 - 20, 2006, at the Rio All Suites Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, NV. This was the first combined convention for Allegra Network and Signs Now franchisees since Allegra acquired the company in 2005. The convention presents franchisees with the opportunity to network with industry peers and attend training sessions and a Graphics Expo that helps them stay abreast of emerging industry trends and technology developments. The event also recognizes franchise and corporate accomplishments, including awards for Rookie of the Year and Franchisee of the Year. The Rookie of the Year Award is based on production and stellar results in business growth and development. Tommy and Lisa Byrd, owners of the Signs Now center in Morrisville, N.C. were given the Rookie of the Year award. According to Signs Now President, Steve White, the Byrds have shown enormous growth potential and excellent customer service and sales improvements since taking over the franchisee in Aug. 2005. Travis Masters was named the Franchisee of the Year for his accomplishments at the Signs Now center in Largo, Fla. According to White, Masters has experienced a 53 percent sales increase in the past year. "Masters was named our Rookie of the Year at the convention in 2005," he explained. "His continued growth and success through 2006 and has made him one of our leading franchisees in the Signs Now family." The Franchisee of the Year Award is based on sales growth, system participation, meeting attendance, operations compliance, brand integrity ranking, customer relations, system implementation, employee certification and willingness to share with others in the system. In addition to the awards and training opportunities, the Signs Now franchise owners were also treated to a preview of the future direction of the company. Recently, Signs Now completed a brand research study that will provide the company with insights into client expectations, perceptions of its brand across markets, and emerging trends in the signage and graphics industry. The initial findings were presented to franchisees at a convention breakfast. White looks forward to the impact this will all for the company and Signs Now franchisees.
