Michael McNinch is one of those coura-geous businesspeople of the 21st century who could serve as an example of dissat-isfied workers looking for a new challenge and fulfillment. McNinch left his career in hedge funds to join partners and expand a handyman company, Maintenance Made Simple. For seven years, prior to starting his new career in mid-2005, McNinch's job was analyzing the financial performance of companies. He spent five years in London where he was de-veloping a business for Credit Suisse First Boston. "My focus and specialization was measuring corporate performance and looking for good companies that are attractively priced and growing and expanding and have good futures," he said. Today, instead of analyzing publicly traded companies, he is working with partners in Veritas Investment Partners. In 2005, they bought Maintenance Made Simple, a franchise organization started in 2004, McNinch's offices are in Scottsdale Airpark. It has 34 franchises across the country, and McNinch said his goal is to double or triple that number over the next 12 to 18 months. This article has been read 1783 times .
