Indianapolis - 7 April, 2006 -
A nationwide survey of about 8,500 singles suggests most women consider a baseball game to be a good place for a date and an ideal place to meet men. It's Just Lunch, with 90 locations worldwide, reported that two-thirds of the women like a baseball date while just half of the men agreed. About 75 percent of the women consider the ballpark a opportunistic setting to find "love at first sight." Tracey Varana, director of the syndicated Great Expectations dating service with 4,000 Indianapolis members, says the survey is swinging and missing. "It wouldn't be my first choice," she said. "Just meeting somebody by chance, you don't know anything about them. Going to a baseball game is like going to a movie. It can be loud. It's difficult to have a quiet one-on-one conversation and get to know the person."This article has been read 866 times .
