The delectable early-day delight boasts a split Hillshire Farm(R) smoked sausage link, a warm, folded egg and a melting slice of American cheese served on a flaky croissant. While development of the breakfast menu has been a key goal for the masterminds behind the zesty Steak & Egg Burrito(TM), hearty Breakfast Burger(TM) and mouthwatering Loaded Breakfast Burrito(TM), it had been a while since a breakfast sandwich had fanned the flames of pre-lunch desire. The hearty-yet-delicate croissant and sausage pairing kindles enthusiasm for even the most discerning of breakfast goers. "Developing the breakfast menu at Carl's Jr. has been a key emphasis for us over the past few years -- and it shows.
