Carl's Jr. Feeds Local Hunger with Beefy Expansion Plans

From big juicy char-broiled burgers to a complete line of char-broiled chicken sandwiches and entr e salads, Carl's Jr. is bringing its extensive menu to the hungry Seattle market. Northwest Foods LP is a new entity whose general partner, the Trani Food Group Inc., recently signed on with Carl's Jr. to develop the Seattle market. Nick Trani, president of the Trani Food Group, has been a franchisee within the Carl's system for more than 20 years and currently operates 10 stores in the Modesto, California area.
