The American Poolplayers Association, the 800-pound gorilla of amateur billiard leagues, has a pretty darn good site! It presents itself simply but thoroughly, with links that are easy to find something we couldn’t say about many of the other association Web sites. The colorful site also provides a comprehensive history of the organization; outlines the organization’s purpose, mission, and goals; and cites ways to get involved. From the look of the site, it’s clear that the APA has worked hard to make billiards accessible to the average Joe, and we applaud the group for providing this valuable resource for their past, current and future members.”
