When Bud Hadfield needed a source of thermographed material for his Kwik Kopy customers, he decided to develop his own system, founding American Wholesale Thermographers in 1980. The company, which began franchising in 1981, offers 24-hour turnaround on orders, all of which are placed by printing centers on behalf of their customers. American Wholesale Thermographers is part of the ICED family of franchises, which also includes Kwik Kopy, Franklin's Printing, The Ink Well, Copy Club and Women's Health Boutique.
