In exchange, we will provide the tools and training you need to run your own Mara's Caf & Bakery location. | Training | The 16-20 week competency based training includes extensive in-house practical and written training, from baking, production management, marketing, purchasing and inventory to accounting and management practices. | Franchise owners and their key management staff will receive at least two weeks and up to three weeks of training, including both classroom and on-the-job training. |
| Support | Point of Sale - cash flow, reporting and customer loyalty programs. Human Resources - industrial relations, employee relations and relevant legislation. Operations - over 55 operations staff across Australia/New Zealand acting as a business partner. Product safety and occupation health and safety standards. Property - locating viable precincts and negotiating leases directly with landlords. Purchasing - group purchasing arrangements. The opportunity to network with other franchisees and benchmark results provides an invaluable support system to the 700 strong bakery networks. | Your team will receive five days of onsite help at your own location around the time of your grand opening. You will have access to all Mara's Caf & Bakery trademarks, recipes and supply chains, and our unique operational procedures. And, we'll provide you with a copy of our confidential operations manual to help you run your caf properly. |
