Candidates should have impeccable professional appearance, charm and charisma, as this is a customer-service-oriented business. Excellent spoken and written communication skills, great attention to detail, basic computer skills, enthusiasm, passion, ambition, warmth and compassion are necessities. Having run your own business, or past experience in sales, marketing, and teaching or coaching groups of people are all great assets to bring to the table. After completing this course at your own pace, completing all assignments, and performing volunteer work at local shelters, you will attend three weeks of hands-on training in Los Angeles learning the curriculum, training methods and dog handling, as well as our state-of-the-art software system for managing enrollments, inventory, sales, accounting and client management, as well as all other topics germane to running your business successfully. You will also receive richly-detailed curriculum guides for all classes. | |
